After learning about watchmaking complications, illustrated by some 300 watches on display in the museum, they will take on the role of watchmaker for a practical exercise that will delight the younger and older visitors alike.
The Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet offers an immersive, fun and exciting experience for children aged 8 to 12. Combining history, hands-on workshops and entertainment, this interactive introduction to the world of watchmaking takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 1:45pm to 4:30pm in groups of 8 participants (4 children an 4 adults).
Immersed in the history of the Vallée de Joux, children will explore how natural resources and the climate led to the birth of Haute Horlogerie. They will discover the work of the first watchmakers and trace the origins of Audemars Piguet’s founding families.
