The KAWS:HOLIDAY installation is permanently closed.
Following its recent visits to Shagnhai and Indonesia, Audemars Piguet is pleased to welcome the twelfth stop of the renowned "KAWS:HOLIDAY" world tour.
For this iteration, KAWS and his long-time partner AllRightsReserved present a monumental 11-metre COMPANION sculpture within the architectural complex of Audemars Piguet’s international headquarters in Le Brassus, inviting visitors on a contemplative journey, where the timelessness of fine watchmaking meets the expression of contemporary art.
Sitting on the roof of Audemars Piguet's first Manufacture, the COMPANION sculpture overlooks the glass spiral of the Musée Atelier of Audemars Piguet. It invites the viewer to relflect on the inextricable link between Haute Horlogerie and the wider cultural world, as if silently observing the passage of time.
Since its inception in 2018, the KAWS:HOLIDAY world tour has travelled around the world, stopping in Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bristol, Singapore, Melbourne, the scenic Changbai Mountain, and even outer space. In the past year alone, it has journeyed from Yogyakarta to Shanghai, and now to Le Brassus—nearly circling the globe. Each stop on the tour offers travellers a new opportunity for enriching experiences.
